I created a high-fidelity 3D model of the Z8-Water water purifier from scratch, based on the physical product. The model was then used to produce photorealistic renders for the website and marketing campaigns, as well as a product animation. This approach resulted in a consistent, scalable visual system that could be deployed across both static and motion content.
Create a high-fidelity 3D representation of the Z8-Water water purifier, based directly on the physical product, and use it as a flexible visual foundation for web, marketing, and motion applications.
Approach
Starting from the physical water purifier, I rebuilt the product entirely in 3D with a strong focus on accuracy, proportions, and material realism. This ensured the digital model closely matched the real-world product and could function as a reliable visual asset across multiple use cases.
Once the model was finalized, it was integrated into a series of carefully art-directed 3D renders for the website and marketing campaigns. In addition, the same model was used in a product animation, allowing for consistent visual storytelling across both static and motion content.
Phase 1
3D modelling
We kicked off the project by closely examining the physical product and aligning on the goals, requirements, and intended use cases. I received a physical unit at my office, which allowed me to study the product in detail and ensure a high level of accuracy throughout the process.
Based on this analysis, I modeled the water purifier entirely from scratch in 3D, with a strong focus on precision, proportions, and surface detail.
The product was built as three separate components: the main water purifier housing, the internal mechanisms, and a separate salt reservoir. This modular setup allowed for flexible use in both renders and animation.

Phase 2
Rendering
After completing the model, I applied detailed textures and materials to achieve a realistic, production-ready finish. The finalized 3D asset was then used to create high-quality still renders for the website, advertising campaigns, and printed materials such as brochures.
In addition, a product animation was created to clearly communicate the functionality and key features of the water purifier in an engaging and accessible way.

Outcome
The result was a versatile 3D asset that enabled Z8-Water to present their product consistently and professionally across digital touchpoints: from high-quality website visuals and campaign imagery to a dynamic product animation, without the need for repeated photoshoots.
